Norm,
Gosh I spent at least months to get the settings just right on
my Vibroplex.  I mean it had to be just where I left off when
I went back to use it.  Of course as time passed I kept speeding
it up every few months till reached a setting that was satisfactory.
If I had to do that every time I came on shift they would fire me
because of the time delay in setting up a bug to my touch.  But
its nice to have use of someone elses bug and a choice of what kind
etc.  I use to keep mine in my locker at WBR (Old CAA Stn in Miami)
also later on wherever I was at in ARINC
