Well, for what it's worth, in 1967, I took the 13 WPM code test, passed 
that, then
took the General, followed by the Advanced threory (with no break 
between). As a
"reward" my elmer presented me with a Vibroplex Original bug. With the 
admonish-
ment, "You can get rid of everything else you accquire over the years, 
but you KEEP
the bug." Well, it's 37 years later. I still have the bug. And, although 
not very active
in general, I do make it a point to make a CW contact with it once in a 
while.
