I was kind of wondering to myself when I posted these if anyone would
see someone
they recognized. So far though, nobody has said, "Hey, that's me!"

Same here. Although for different reasons.
1971, I got my first electronics job at a dive called LA Electronics.
The owner
tells me, "I have a customer coming over this afternoon that's
threatening to kill
me if I don't get his radio back together. Could you take a look at it
for me?"
What he didn't tell me, it was an old Super Pro with the front panel removed
and all the hardware (and gears etc.) poured into a coffee can.
To say the least, they can be a challenge to reassemble when you saw how it
came apart. To be handed a can full of hardware....well, it's MORE of a
challenge.
I did get it all back together though, in time for the store owner to
avert any
physical damage to himself.
