On mine, the numbers are the date that my membership expires.  For life =
there would be no expiration.

On My Lable the Row of numbers is: 35*26454* / /*l *62
Which I assume indicate:
   35 years licensed ( actually 40 now )
26454 Membership member
/ /   I don't have any idea
   *l Life Member
  *62 year first licensed
