These are responses I've recently sent directly to individuals.
They do however, apply to all QCWA chapters and members.

All active chapters that don't have their own web site have a web
page at http://www.qcwa.org/chapternnn.htm  substitute your chapter
number for the nnn and zero fill numbers smaller than 100
( use 078 Vs 78 )

 If you just want a web page, send me the information an I'll keep
it up dated. A good example of what can be on a web page is
Chapter 8's page at http://www.qcwa.org/chapter008.htm
For those chapters that only need/want a web page, if you send
me an electronic or a hard copy of your newsletter, I'll keep your
page updated from it.

For those of you that want their own web site, check out Chapter 91's
site at http://homepage.mac.com/rrucker/chapter91.html
Chapter 91 does all their own programming and layout.

Qsl.net provides free web hosting for any amateur radio subject at
http://www.qsl.net  If your Chapter has Call letters you can have access
to a site in a matter of minutes. Otherwise request a user id of qcwannn
and tell them its for QCWA Chapter nnn.  You should receive an e-mail
in several days with all the vital info.

Yahoo provides web hosting at http://geocities.yahoo.com/home/
Tripod provides web hosting at http://www.tripod.lycos.com/
on both, the basic free site includes pop up ads that some find
annoying.  I'm sure there are others.

Microsoft Word or Front Page can be used to format you web pages and
generate the html code needed.

If your chapter handles it's own web site and need help getting
something
to work, let me know.

You can also link to any web page on the site and/or to the site itself
from any chapter site.

If you have suggestions for things you would like to see on the site
please forward them to me and I'll see what can be done.

This is YOUR SITE.  It should reflect what we do, who we are, and give a
good perception to the rest of the world.  It should also be useful for
us,
the members.
