Well frankly I am sorta more into ARMY MARS in recent years than into
the Ham side of things.  But then again without the HAM ticket MARS
would be impossible as thats the primary requirement.   I have been
so tied up with the DIGITAL Packet relay system  in MARS that extends
from  Japan/Korea/Okinawa to the west, to Bosnia/Germany/Serbia on the
east side.  Trying to keep the "NTS" tfc forwarding system in tact
and up to date is a full time chore just about.   Guess you could call
that a modern form of "CW".   We do contribute to HLS and military
support though on a World Wide basis so I feel a certain satisfaction
in being part of this.  How does this relate to QCWA you say?  Well
maybe not at all but it shows their are ways for HAMS of all varities
to support serving our country and helping with maintainng the
MORALE of GI's overseas and throughout the Military.  I am not
retired from Military as got out just as soon as could in 1945
right after VJ day.
