Do I ever get on the air. Yes daily at times like yda 4 hours
running a MARS FEMA quarterly exercise net!
Ahhh you say thats not ham radio.  In fact it is.  A ham license
is the requirement to participate with MARS.  Do I ever use CW?
Nope CW was outlawed on all MARS freqcys about 5 years or more
back and WAR's last transmission took place at that time.
I do use packet and pactor daily!  Its all for MARS and we do
serve during emergencies.   Its the best feeling you can possibly
have of not only enjoying your Hobby but also putting your abilities
to a good use serving our guys and gals in IRAQ and every other
part of the world.  We have MARS gateways in Bosnia, Iraw,
Afganistan, Germany etc.
(hey am I bragging??? Yep guilty as charged.
