[Qcwa] Fw: TO ALL QCWA MEMBERS VIA THE REFLECTOR

How about making a computer run available to members, showing members within
a given, perhaps 50 mile, radius of a location.
I wish there was a chapter near here, and perhaps others do to. Trouble is,
I don't know how many members, if any, there are in the area.

I think the existence of a local, active chapter would be beneficial.

 Uh Bill......

 What was the request?

Thanks for asking, Howard. I see now that my request to the "general
membership" of QCWA might be less than obvious, given that the original
communication was between just one member and me.

As a member of the board, I will be attending the BOD meeting in Orlando in
October. I would like to go to this meeting armed with ideas and/or
suggestions from QCWA members (or chapters). For instance: How can we
make
QCWA more attractive to potential members? How can HQ better serve the
chapters? Is the QCWA web site in need of revamping? Can we become more
involved in public service - if so, how? Should the "reflector" be
utilized
by the officers in order to keep the membership up to date? Etc, etc,
 etc............................

I hope that this answers your question, Howard.

 Cheers! Bill McGrannahan, N0ZL
