I got the same response on the local TRW repeater when I pointed out
I was running a 42 year old 200 pound tube radio.
Got a lot of people out of the wood work on that one.

Heh, even more than I got when I used VOX on a repeater in traffic
for the first and last time. (Nothing like hearing a squelch tail after a
particularly "pointed" remark about someone's driving teechnique. ;-)
