W3BE was a mid-level bureaucrat with the FCC. Ben F. Waple was another, whose signature appeared on Ham Licenses in the 50's and 60's. Why being a mid-level Civil
Servant makes either of them "experts" I don't know. I was a GM-13 in the FAA myself, but I don't consider myself an expert on aviation, nor would I presume to speak for
others in the Aviation filed, retired or not.
I think many worship false gods.
