I suppose I started this as well, after responding to the joke.
But would someone explain to me, that just because I don't
believe CW to be the "be all to end all" I'm somehow bad-
mouthing CW?
Another thing I don't understand, is where if EVER was it said
to do away with CW? Do away with being able to send and
receive at 13 or 20 WPM perhaps, but outlawing the mode?
In the entire history of Amateur radio, the only mode that's
been done away with was Spark.
And why do the CW ops have to be so damned hostile
about defending it?
Its like listening to the more radical homosexual, pro-life,
anti-gun and vegetarian groups raving that if you don't agree
with them 100% somehow you're below the worst useless
scum of the earth.
