Henry,
Speaking of Table of organizations,  I was in 5th sig svc det at
Benning when they formed the first B17 squadron at Lawson
field,  which was actually on same grounds as Ft Benning.
So I ambled down there kinda wondering what that bunch looked
like.  Remember it was AAC at that time not USAF.  Anyway
I saw more top 3 graders at that place than any where I had
been.   They had formed the squadron but had little or no
equipment to go with it, so all these guys were top 3 before they
even shaved I think.    The only guys I can recall that beat
the TO by a yard or 2 were the Telco Linemen and SWITCHING CENTER
techs.   They were inducted as Techs and Masters.  Dont think
that ever happened before or since.
