One thing that I forgot to mention was that the performance of the AP-10A seems to fall off drastically when attached to a window sill (my favorite method) that is made of metal (the window frame that is).
I suppose that the radiated RF is absorbed by the surrounding metal -- anyhow, it does not work very well at all in that situation. With wood it is great. Metal kills it.
