I appear to be a victim of this....someone looked up my profile on QRZ.com
and has been using my call on 40, 20 and 2 meters in widely diverse
geographical areas. I have received two OO reports of his poor operation,
overmodulation, etc. I think I will go to a blank profile on QRZ.com. I
have received email via my call sign at ARRL.org asking why I have not
returned QSL for this bootleggers QSOs. One email said the guy was accessing
the local repeater via the internet. It may be time for the FCC to take a
look at Echolink and similar systems.
