Comments:
I like NAQP but it came at a bad time for me--back from an international
trip and I picked up a bug at the terminal. Couldn't hold out for ten hours
this year. But it's a fun contest with always a few surprises--sometimes
good ones. When K5GN asked me at about 0120 to move from 7.0 to 28.005 I
was thinking, "... waste of time but I'll try." Don't know what Dave knew,
but there was an empty band and a 599 exchange NC/TX on ten meters!
I used "Tripp" to honor N4NTO (SK) who we lost recently to a tragic
accident while doing what he loved most--activating new POTA sites.
Lost a few minutes with repeats but worthwhile and "a grand time." (One of
Tripp's favorite contest comments.)
