Chapter Meetings Update

GM All.

     So far, II have received inputs from nine of us.  Thank you!

     The more inputs we get the better off we all will be so please keep
your inputs and ideas coming.

     So where are we so far?  Well, Jim K4QPL succinctly summed it up by
saying "I just don't see a "One size fits all solution".

     He's right.  Whether the question is where to meet, how often, what
time, outside speakers, etc. we have plenty of valid inputs and options.
There are potential plans of action emerging but whatever we evolve to, it
won't be overnight.

     I see our first step is to set a goal of starting whatever new meeting
approach in January of 2025 and maintain our current meeting plan until
then.  That will give us time to develop our approach to 2025 meetings.

     We have three guest speakers for the last quarter of 2024:
3-Oct John - K3TN Nov SS Hints
7-Nov Frank - W3LPL Low Band RX Antennas
5-Dec Tom - N4TL Classic Radio Restoration

     At this point, I urge everyone to get their two cents into this
discussion.  The more inputs and ideas we can get, the better we'll do in
the future.

     I have three more items/issues that I'd like to get your inputs on.

1.  Should we try to get a holiday dinner event set up for PVRC-NC?  If
yes, would you volunteer to help get one setup?
2.  Whatever we wind up doing in the future will very likely include a
change of venue/venues.  I would like to get some help in identifying
potential new venues and checking them out.  Who is up to help?
3.  If we find a great venue that charges for use of a really good private
room, would you be willing to chip in for that cost?
