Tower projects at K4QPL--ground crew needed

Time waits for no man and I have come to the conclusion that it is time for
me to hang up my climbing belt and come up with a better way to tend my
aluminum garden. Through experience at VP5 I have also learned that the
SteppIR is a damn good antenna with the benefit of including WARC band
capacity and is particularly adaptable to different heights AGL.
So, the Rohn 75' with the TH7XX is coming down and being replaced with an
AlumaTower 40' fold over/crankup with a SteppIR.
Fin, NC4FG, is team leader and primary climber.
Game day is Monday with alternate Wednesday for weather or other causes.
Biscuits, coffee and a safety meeting at 8 a.m.before we start. Bring
gloves and a hard hat if you have one.
