Well I had a ball!!! At the old qth I would have to go down to the
basement but here at the apartment i have everything set up in my
apartment office

I call the apartment the ultimate hoa. I put up my 1/4 wave vertical
at the end of the building, string out my radials and adjust the whip
to make it resonant wherever I wanna go

I was very rusty at the beginning. When I went south with Jim last
year I had ran morse runner and rufzxp for a couple a months in
anticipation and I think I ran

morse runner a couple times on Friday before the contest. Wasn't
confident on my serial numbers at the beginning of the contest but I
would wait alot of time to hear the

next q and I was good. Anyway had a blast 20 on Saturday evening was
as good as Ive ever heard it and 15 was ehhh for me and checked out 10
for some south american mults

The main takeaway is that I had a great time. Worked 48
countries,which I thought was good,heard China but the 100w 1/4 wave
wouldn't have done it. Sure would have been

good to fire up one of the two amps I have here:) As I type this I
have a smile on my face and that's great!!!! 73
