Contest gripes

It’s part of our beloved PVRC traditions to gripe about the last contest. With such WOW conditions that’s hard to do this year. But here they are.
1. Busted spots. think conditions overwhelmed the skimmers or the S&P auto spotters were busting a heck of a lot of calls. Not unusual to see three or four different busts along with the grayed out dupe. Much worse than usual IMHO.
2. Impatience. I ALWAYS give my call at least as often as the rules and if it isn’t a pileup, after every Q. So some rock crusher dude comes on while I’m trying to pull out a weak station. First, “CL”. I send AS. Repeat. Then “CALL CALL” creating more delay. I finish the Q with my call sign. The SOB is gone as I was obviously a dupe. It’s not my job to kill my run so he can find out if I’m a dupe. If I had given him my call and I wasn’t a dupe he would have overpowered my caller.
Either an ignorant lid who doesn’t know the meaning of prosigns or a pompous lid in search of rate. Maybe I should add another “S” to the prosign! Thank goodness he is the exception.
Ok, back to your coffees….
