US Senators have made a bipartisan bill that shows they care about Amateur
Radio. For the first time in decades, the US government has the potential
to bolster Amateur Radio Operations and Operators all across the US.

*What's Happening?*

Senators Wicker and Blumenthal have introduced the Amateur Radio Emergency
Preparedness Act, aiming to support emergency communication by:

   1. Prohibiting homeowner association rules that would prevent or ban
   amateur radio antennas.
   2. Clarifying the approval process for installing amateur radio antennas
   3. Giving amateur radio operators a private right of action
