The ARRL 10 meter contest is the last chance in 2024 for PVRC to try to
maintain its extraordinary, first-time achievement in calendar year 2023 of
winning more than half of the major club competitions available to amateur
radio clubs in the United States. See our December Newsletter for details

Ten meters has been very hot for DX lately, this should be a lot of fun.
WAS and DXCC in one weekend are possibilities!
Remember to spot yourself when running phone.

You send your state, *not section*. Washington, D.C. sends DC.

CW QSOs count 4 points each, phone contacts are only 2 points each.

MULTIPLIERS are: US states (plus the District of Columbia), Canadian
Provinces and Territories, *Mexican states*, *DXCC entities*, and* ITU
regions* you contacted.

The ARRL 160 meter contest (CW only) and the ARRL 10 meter contest are the
last chance in 2024 for PVRC to try to maintain its extraordinary,
first-time achievement in calendar year 2023 of winning more than half of
the major club competitions available to amateur radio clubs in the United
States. See our December Newsletter for details.

The 160m contest is this weekend beginning Friday 5pm EDT. (First full
weekend in December. Begins 2200 UTC Friday and runs through 1559 UTC
Sunday.)

Last year PVRC was the high scoring club, but SMC was close on our heels.

We work any station anywhere, DX must work only W/VE so they will try hard
to hear you.
Exchange:  5NN {ARRL-SECTION}

Your contact with DX station worth 5 points, with W/VE is 2 points so if
you run out of quick contacts with W/VE then its worth straining your ears
for the DX
Use spotting in SOU and Multi-Op categories.

Multipliers: ARRL/RAC Sections plus the Northern Territories plus *DXCC
entities*.
