[PVRCNC] Helping an old dog learn new tricks...

Gents,

It's been some years, but I've been on the PVRC roster since ~ '95.

I went Radio quiet for a decade or so (had been regular on 147.00 for years
before), but now have a rural QTH and have built decent station.

I've decided to get serious with DXCC (I'm about halfway there), and it's
time to work some contests, but I want to submit as PVRC..

I am targeting ARRL DX SSB in early March and working my way through N1MM
settings.

The Questions:

I'm looking for some Elmering from someone familiar with N1MM and getting it
setup so my Log will help PVRC (and not be rejected).

I'll likely be running S&P but might get lucky and find a run Freq.

I'm thinking Single-Op, Assisted, ~500W and getting spots from W3LPL.

The "Lil Gun" Station:

I'm running an FT-991A, with the M1-Mic, into an ACOM 700S, driving 300
ft of LMR600 to an A3s (with the 40m extension) on a Rocket Launcher.

It is a nice RF quiet environment.

So, any inputs, suggestions, advice, Pointers or Elmering is welcome.

I am hoping to make a reasonable first, solid contribution to the club.

(calls or direct emails welcomed)

73,

Steve
