Another successful Beach-pedition; improved on last year’s score (263/37/3
= 23,160).  Just as last year, the cold weather and winds at the beach
house made antenna setup a challenge.  Erected a 46 ft carbon fiber mast on
the second floor deck and a 34 ft fiberglass pole in corner of lot to
support the Inverted-L, built and installed a FCP and 64 ft LoG receiving
antenna.  Band noise was S-5/6 the whole weekend, so missed some of the
weaker stations calling.  The LoG turned out to be useless in helping to
work the weaker stations.  Maybe they do not work well on sandy soil.

This was mostly a run effort with some S&P when the rate stopped for
extended periods.  The only DX countries worked were KP4 and KP2; although
I was also happy to work a VE6 and AZ.
