[PVRCNC] RFI - HF direction finding?

Discovered I have some new very annoying wide band RFI that raises my noise floor about 15-20dBm or 2-3 S-units across the 20M band. It appears to be about 1.5-2Mhz wide from 13 MHz to 15 MHz.

Whenever I have a resonant antenna on 20M connected(my square loop or Moxon) the noise covers the whole band raising the noise floor to 120dBm(S-3-4). I can use my 80M dipole for receive with pre-amp and the noise stays down in the 135-130dBm(~S-1) range. With grounded antenna feed-line the receiver noise floor is about 140dBm.

10M seems to be affected slightly as well, so likely a harmonic effect.

I used my SDRPlay ant small antenna to scan around the house for offending devices. But, didn’t find anything local.

This really makes working 20M DX very difficult. It really impacts RTTY and digital decoding because it overlays a hash on those signals, unless they S-9+.

Does anyone have a hand held DF antenna that I could borrow to hunt down this RFI? Anyone have experience with finding RFI like this?

Looking for suggestions from the collective PVRCNC wisdom out there.

Thanks,
Eric - NR4O
