Very sad news. Brian was not only a great op but good friend to all. Always ready to help solve a technical problem beyond the knowledge of most of us and to share parts and equipment. And as Bert said, a great sense of humor. A “pen pal” by email for years and I am using tower hardware bought when he left N.C.  
RIP, Brian.
