I regret to inform our PVRCNC members that Brian Alsop, K3KO, passed away yesterday morning at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. Brian's wife, Barbara, called us here in Maine to tell us.

Brian was an avid contester, DX-chaser, and engineer who loved to automate his station. His dry wit always kept you on your toes, and he'll be sadly missed. May his memory be eternal.
