[PVRCNC] The Ultimate Ham Shack!

About 10 years ago I operated Field Day with several club members from one of these in Franklin County - it turned out to be a great time. Climbing the tower was a bit scary because of the condition of the steps. I think we stopped at about the 60 foot mark and deployed a few antennas from there.
Neat stuff!

I would LOVE to have one of those. I climbed one at about 6 years old on a
ridge in GA with the consent of the family friend who was a lookout. Awesome
and I have wanted to repeat it ever since! Not sure about being up there in
a thunderstorm with a yagi on top, however. :-)

The ultimate ham shack - at the top (90 ft) of the tower. Shortest possible
coax runs. Great exercise for us aging operators. Aluminum foil helmet and
underwear optional during operation. Three are available...great for a
multi-multi station.
