Doubt this was stray RF. Most likely a manufacturing defect in devices in
the TX string or in mounting/heat-sinking in same.
There’s always one weak solid state device in a box of nnnn devices.
Unavoidable. Or a mounting that didn’t get proper torque. Yada yada.
To your other question. Would really be a good resource on PVRC.org to
keep current a list of repair points for various rigs. Let people report
who fixed theirs.
