Loved your comments Nate. You guys know I'm not a big contester, but I 
do enjoy it when I jump in. I read a comment from somebody basically 
saying 'why would you join a contesting club if you're not an avid 
contester?' The answer is because I admire those who are. It has been a 
privilege to commiserate with some of the best ops and tech brains I 
have ever met, and just a great group of guys (and gals). Like Nate, I 
enjoy the hobby as much now as I did when I first got licensed. Except, 
in my case, that was 1964- HI. Contesting is a part of it. So is DXing, 
trying new modes, satellites, occasional QRP, special events, antenna 
building, etc. There's so  much to this great hobby.
