For those of you who are not on the main PVRC email list (or if you missed
this email from Frank W3LPL), PVRC has run up a budget deficit.  Let me add
my call to Frank¹s (below).  Most of us (myself included) enjoy great
benefits and pay next to nothing for them.  If you find our club to be as
valuable as I do, please show your support with your $ to keep us healthy
and focused on radio!

The web page at www.pvrc.org has a big ³Donate² button on it that will let
you use Paypal to contribute.  You don¹t even need to be signed up with
Paypal ­ if you poke around after pressing the Donate button, you¹ll see a
way to use your credit card.

Thanks for helping this to be a fantastic community of contesters!

Friends,

I was surprised to learn of PVRC's serious financial deficit in 2012.

Through the considerable efforts of our members and leadership we've become
one of the world's foremost contesting clubs.  We need only modest financial
resources to keep maintain PVRC's programs, but one dollar per member simply
cannot support our world class club and its many deserving activities.

We definitely do not want to burden our treasurer with the thankless chore
of dues collection.  I've been there and we definitely don't want to go
back.

I hope many of you -- like me -- will make a generous donation to PVRC
today.   Its very easy to make a PayPal donation to dave at wr3l.net
