[PVRCNC] LDF4-50a equivalent?

Hi all,

Thanks for the helpful info on finding a 3' mast.  Seems like it's a bit of
a treasure hunt!  
I managed to locate some random almost 3' pieces at Heights Tower - they are
.25" thick wall, T6-6061 aluminum and since they were random scrap lengths,
I got a good price of around $20 each - grabbed three of them.  Shipping
from CA was only $20 so overall pretty reasonable.

Now for the next question - W3LPL's contest university presentation on
towers and coax said "use LDF4-50A, period."  So I've been looking around
and several people have mentioned that there are LDF4-50A equivalents for
around $1.50 a foot.  I found one source, Surplus Server, who sells Draka
LDF4-50A equivalent for $1.39 a foot.  Made in Finland, takes Andrews
connectors and seems to have almost identical specs.

Anyone have experience with this or have a different recommendation?

Trying to do things better with my from scratch makeover!

BTW, the AB-621 mast arrived Monday, it's no Rohn 45G, but to me, it's big!
Sure looks like it will take a beating without complaining.
