Hi Kent -

I’ll go over the details at the meeting but it is pretty simple so sign up.

If you are interested in a block of time for SSB send a note to K4OV and he’ll take care of it. For CW, send a note to N4AF. The spreadsheets are located at http://centennial.n4af.net. If the block is penciled in, don’t hesitate to request the slot anyway.

Nate/N4YDU

Just getting into this.... will it be discussed at the meeting how we can sign up for this? I could grab some early morning hours as I am working with Europe on business and find myself in the shack... ermmm I mean OFFICE, at strange hours.

  Club,

I agree with Rob - this is an excellent opportunity. More than likely the pileups will be sizeable even with a typical station running 100 watts.

If you can’t get on in January, NC gets another crack at it in September.

  Hi Nate,

Since Howie has to get a list submitted ASAP, I told him to sign me up for lots of time slots that week, figuring that there would be more PVRC'ers that would want to cover a few hours here and there.

I'm traveling again this week, so will you announce this at the meeting on Thursday? I don't mind arranging this, and I'd hate to have folks miss out on this.

     Rob K4OV

    Howie -

    I'll take 5-7 p.m. local on Jan 1st and Jan 2nd and then 3-7 p.m. local on
    January 3rd.

I haven't been keeping up with the procedure. I'm assuming I'll sign W1AW/4.

I need to file the operator list with HQ re: Jan activation of W1AW/4 as
    reflected on http://centennial.n4af.net
I think the way it works is HQ then sends me a letter authorizing the
activations per the schedule submitted to them.

As I recall, AA4NC is the only NC station listed for SSB operation.
