[PVRCNC] Sweepstakes and 2011 PVRC-NC awards

While we are hearing about the well-earned Sweepstakes certificates and
plaques that club members are receiving, the highly coveted and truly worthy
PVRC-NC Sweepstakes awards are also on their way!

The 2011 PVRC-NC Sweepstakes awards honor significant contributions to our
PVRC club score (and to our 4th win in a row last year!)

The ³2011 Most Improved Score² award goes to Marc W4MPS, with a nearly 30%
increase in his SSB score!  Along with his certificate, he will be receiving
a one-year subscription to NCJ.  Congratulations, Marc!

The ³2011 Rookie of the Year² award goes to Bob WX4G, with at terrific
first-time PVRC submission of over 150K in the SSB contest.

The ³Calloused Butt² awards, given to PVRC-NC ops with 12 or more
Butt-In-Chair hours in either contest mode, go to: WX4G, W4KAZ, WW4M, K4WES,
and K4TMC.

And, the most prized and honorable award is the ³Iron Butt² award, given to
ops with 18 or more Butt-In-Chair hours.  The following ops demonstrated
this highly level of dedication and well-developed butt muscles: W4MPS,
AA4XX, K4QPL, AA4FU, W0UCE, K4XO, N4AF, AD4L, N4GU, N1LN, AA4NC, and K4OV.

Kudos to all winning ops!

If you want bragging rights for what will be a much-envied 2012 version of
these awards, sit down for one or both contest modes this year, and don¹t
get up until you¹ve earned your award!  And once again, the most improved
score in CW and SSB will win a one-year NCJ subscription.  Are you up for
