You can put it all on one com port in N1MM. See

I seem to recall that there was something about if you do that, that you
can't interrupt a program send before it ends. I can't find a reference
about that.
The problem with not using winkey is the CW can get choppy on a slower
and/or single core PC. Fast quad core PC will never have a problem. Chop
comes when Windows pays attention to things other than the N1MM program.
Also Microham boxes take a USB port, include winkey, and break out PTT, CW
and AUX to the transmitter.
