[PVRCNC] PVRC/NC East Chapter Meeting Thursday

Thursday night Nov. 3rd will be a meeting of NC East Chapter members per 
regular NC East meeting schedule. (i.e., 6:00pm Thursday, Manchester's 
on Leesville Rd in N. Raleigh)  807's, food, friends....a fine evening.

For the EssEssBee-phobes, it might be worth hearing the tall tales of 
10m-openings-to-everywhereintheworld, 20m open to Europe at 4:00am, 
N4YDU snoozing through the end of the first nights graveyard shift(!), 
and other sea-stories that will be on tap from this past weekend's 
EssEssBee CQWW. Some of the sea stories might even have a grain of 
truth.  Stranger things have happened.

Why? Current conditions just might make a difference in where some of 
the activity for THIS weekends SS CW might wind up distributing 
itself....despite the fact that openings to EU are not too useful for SS 
from the middle of the left coast.  But the 6's will also need to try to 
figure out where their best rate will be found.  It's a mousetrap. 
Maybe they will lose out if folks spread out and their normal rates on 
15 and 20 are diluted by 10m more than ours on 80m and 40m.  I mean, its 
not like we are going down to 160m looking for SS Q's. ;)

One can hope....
