Fellow PVRC'ers,

Greetings from St. John's, NL.  This really is a lovely place!  Temp is almost
the same as back in NC today with blue skies.

I arrived in NL late Thursday and spent yesterday getting the station up and
running.

Fortunately, I brought my WinKeyer and cables, as the club station I'm using did
not have a keying interface for N1MM.  I also had to load N1MM on the station
computer due to a recent hard disk problem.  I now have the Kenwood rig and the
Winkeyer working FB with N1MM, with CW function keys and prefill dB loaded (tnx
Kaz and Marty).

The station has a small mini quad for 10, 15, and 20 and inverted vees for 40
and 80.  The antennas seem to be playing well.  No QRP this trip--more like
500W.  Tell me it ain't so, Joe...

I'll be listening on 14025 around 20:00 UTC and would like to test prop to W4
land on
20 and 15 at that time.  I will be on 40 and 80 for an extended period tonight,
so we should have ample opportunity to work each other.  I plan to operate a
full 24 hours.

GL to PVRC.  Let's have fun!

73,  Paul  VO1BZM   aka AA4XX
