Always interesting to see what it sounds like from the "other side". Thanks to KAZ and YDU for posting.
Who is that signing N1LN? It sounds sorta like a "grasshopper" :>)
What I've always been fascinated with is the extreme variances in signals. I've seen it many times working pileups where the signals vary from "I had a dream" weak to 50 over and you wonder how such a difference can be physically possible. MANY times I'll work a loud brand name multi-multi only to have a mobile station to call in 2 minutes later who is 10 dB louder. This is especially pronounced when the higher bands are open. The moral of the story is no matter what you are running, get in there and give it a try. You may be sitting at just the right spot where 100 watts and a dipole is going to be louder than stacks and a KW.
