Unfortunately, my work travels will have me up in Lynchburg, VA on Thursday.

My excuse for not participating in the highly-anticipated CQ 160 SSB was a prolonged half-cold that had my spoken sentences ending in sporadic multiple coughs. This was not conducive to using VOX and providing rapid responses to fellow contesters. So, I participated in a "green energy" exercise - the rig and power supply stayed in the "off" condition.

Subject: [PVRCNC] Tuesday Tickler for Thursday NC-East chapter meeting

For those whose touch with reality is less than solid, this is a
reminder that it is now the first week of March. Therefore it it time
once again for the NC-East chapter meeting. The meeting will be held on
Thursday March 3rd.

W0UCE has proposed that the normal "loaner" crayons will be insufficient
for completion of this month's paper contest. Tha is a good thing,
since the crayons have indeed been misplaced by el Escribano Inexacto.
So be advised that no substitutes will be available at the start of the
evening's grey matter teaser.

No word on whether the trademarked W0UCE wrapping paper will be used to
swaddle the prize, nor any guidance on whether the prize will be of
greater value than the wrappings.

What is certain is that there will be an evening of entertainment for
those in attendance. Beats the crap pining away for sunspots....
