1.  As always, el escribano improductivo's notice regarding PVRC NC Paper
Contests is totally accurate regarding the upcoming event announcement.  

2.  For the benefit of those planning to take part in this "Operating Event"
the Contest Sponsor highly recommends participants bring along proper tools
of the trade.  The best option is a 5 mil pencil with soft eraser or second
best will be a nice sharp #2 wooden writing instrument with good eraser.
Separate lead based writing instruments and separate erasers will be allowed
however... Anyone using a separate eraser will be placed in the Assisted
Operating Category.  Sharpies, ball point pens, felt tip pens, highlighters
or wide magic markers are not recommended as suitable logging instruments
for this event. 

3.  This will be a true-to-life actual live DX contest.  The contest sponsor
is not at liberty to disclose the mode of operation at this time, however...
Know Code Licensees may have a leg up in this one.  No Code Licensees
regardless of license class may opt to sit this one out or... At minimum, a
brush up of appropriate Q signals such as QRS is highly recommended.

4.  Optional tools of the trade to include SDR Skimmer Systems,  MFJ 461 or
MFJ 469 type devices may be employed... Laptop computers with N1MM, WriteLog
or other preferred software logging programs may be used however...
Cabrillo, ADIF and log file formats other than the paper logs provided by
the Contest Sponsor will be rejected by the Contest Robot.  Should anyone
care to develop a log conversion software program for use in this event is
welcome to do so however BYOP*** (See Below) - It will NOT BE NECESSARY to
submit your score on 3830...

5.  In response to el escribano improductivo's concern regarding the value
of the contest prize in relation to the wrappings; the Contest Sponsor herby
confirms the prize will in fact be of greater value than a plain brown
wrapper.
