Hi Kaz,
Thanks for passing this on. I hadn't heard about it.
Having been a big supporter of TR over the years, if someone had suggested
this when the only other choice was Writelog, I would have said, "Go for
it". I think Tree looked seriously about jumping into Windows software but
decided it wasn't worth the effort. N1MM which is also free has a big panel
of contributors and really seems to have gotten it together for contesting,
both single and SO2R. The only advantage would have been not to have to
learn new commands. Now that I use MM, I doubt I'll ever use TR again, but
if I wanted to, I think I'd just go the DOS partition route and use the real
thing. Messing with beta versions of old software conversions is probably
counterproductive for contesting.
More importantly, in viewing the supported commands, it seems it doesn't
support SO2R, which is where TR originally made its mark and where the DOS
version is still outstanding. When I discovered that, I changed my mind
about even installing it.
Recommendation: Thumbs down!

Thanks for the info, though. I found the website interesting but I doubt
I'll entrust my valuable set up and contesting time to it.
Besides, if one really
