[PVRCNC] NC East Chapter meeting Thursday

Fuggettaboudit!

The February meeting of the PVRC-NC East chapter is this coming 
Thursday, Feb 7th.  Same time and place(details below).  Come early, as 
the room was getting short on chairs at the January 3rd meeting.  But 
don't worry, we'll squeeze everyone in somewhere.

Back for another assault as Paper Contest Meister, N4TL will have an 
electrifying new paper contest.  He promises that it is sure to be a 
hair raiser.  Tom says that "There are a few hard questions so I made 
them multiple choice."  Thats for you whiners that didn't think to 
answer every question "Armstrong" last time.  Protests will be ignored, 
and W0UCE will not be handicapped on the scoring despite his experience 
in the area.  Be sure to bring your own crayons, stylus, quill pens, 
and/or sense of humor.  Heckling the Contest Meister is obligatory. 
(....or was that supposed to be "heckling BY the Contest Meister"? 
hmmmmm- dang that debauched scribe!)

AA4NC has a tentative program, depending upon the last minute arrival of 
the goods in question - the 2005 K7C Dxpedition program.  Ole IronFist 
'4NC will ramrod the meeting and keep the trains running.  The poor 
Escribano Inexacto will probably be reduced to fabricating the minutes 
entirely(again) just to get his food down.

And even though Jessica Alba is definitely showing, AA4NC is now denying 
any involvement....despite the matching time frames.

So come one, come all, far and wide.  There can be no quality QRM 
without a quorum of contesters in the room.

It could be worse--you could be an Ohio State football fan trying to 
rationalize a SECOND mauling by the SEC....LSU 38, Ohio St 24.

Where:
We meet at Manchester's Bar and Grill in North Raleigh.  Manchesters Bar
and Grill is located at 9109 Leesville Road, Raleigh  27613.
Manchesters is in the Pinecrest Shopping Center which is 0.8 miles south
on Leesville from the Leesville Road exit of I-540.

When:
The "official" meeting time is 6:00 pm, Thursday February 7th, but we 
will actually start whenever AA4NC decides to cut through the usual high 
level of QRM.  Usually somewhat after 6:00pm.  Feel free to come a bit 
early to add to the QRM and quaff an 807....
