Kent,

Welcome to NC and PVRC-NC East country! We do have an active contesting 
chapter with some great operators, stations, etc. More importantly they have 
a real enthusiasm for contesting.

Visit the main www.pvrc.org and our local website-- www.pvrcnc.org  Have a 
look at the SS page that W4KAZ put up specially this year. You'll see a lot 
of familiar contesting calls on the roster. Our meeting info is also there 
for Manchester's Grill on the first Thursday of each month. Would be great 
to meet you there. After years of meeting on the south side of Raleigh we 
rotated to the north last year so a bit more driving but we're easy to get 
to.

Subscribe to the PVRC and PVRCNC reflectors to be sure you get all the news 
and announcements. Membership is pretty laid back. No dues. Become a member 
after attending two meetings. There's an online membership application. Keep 
active with reporting scores. You can also qualify for some nice wallpaper 
and the club 5M award which recognizes continuing contribution to club 
scores.
