75 QSO's 38 grids = 2964

This is my third year in several VHF contests.

What a waste of time. Band is never open for anything but
groundwave-- although a few aurora contacts were made Sunday night.
It should be renamed a ground wave contest.

I guess that is what they mean by 6M skip being sporatic. I would
rather call it "skip is never present when I am"

The superiority of CW for getting through under weak conditions was
again well demonstrated. Conversion of VHF'ers to CW is a hopeless
prospect.

Unfortunately, the guys up north never seem to turn their beams south.
