Guys,

I got this E-mail from Bat, JT1CS. He and I have corresponded lots
over the past 10 years. Back then he wanted to get on RTTY. I sent
him a TNC. He returned the favor with a JT style fur hat-- complete
with tail.

Anyhow here's what he said about Salmon fishing there.

The Salmon on the qsl card is 125cm (50 inch). I got another Big one
in 2002. It was 53 inch. This is my own Record. I used hand made moise
lure to get those two and we often use this kind of lure for Big one.
But some time you can get about 40 inch one by fake minnow or spinner
lure. I use mostly, light green Aglia Mepps lure. This lure work great.
Usually, we go to fish about 400 to 700 km's by car for period of
three days up to one week. We doesn't camp in the River but we go up
or down stream searching for good hole. You can catch small Salmon and
Trout easily in those Rivers. We fish at night also using moise. The
Big ones hunts at night mostly. But some time you can catch Big one in
the afternoon too. Last October, I caught 40 inch Salmon by that light
green lure. That one didn't fight that hard but it was very heavy. I
had light line and I didn't want to brake my line and lose the it. It
took 10 minutes to get it. It was fun. The meat is very testy
specially with Lemon Pepper. You know that. Wow, My fishing fever is
moving very high.

Last year, I visited US and was able to go to Dayton Hamvention in
Ohio. Most of my time in US I spent in Chicago. One of my friend took
me to Cabelas Fishing Gear store. That big Outdoor store I ever seen.
I got some good lures there for gift to my friends and for my own use.
There is Cabelas store her in Ulaanbaatar but there price is too high.
For example, #4 size Aglia spinner 8 dollars. But I paid in US $2.5.
