Boycotted the crazy QTC's.  Even programmed a function key with NIL
QTC.  

They are a total waste especially during a RTTY contest.  It is highly
unlikely that most of them would not be busted in at least one
character anyhow.  Heck, most of my logged exchanged depended upon the
normal repetition of the QSO number in the primary exchange to get it
right.  Imagine how few QTC's, with no built in redundancy, might be
received correctly. Unlike CW or SSB there is no QSK and breaking for
a fill can't be done. Imagine repeating a QTC of ten contacts many
times to get it right.....  Boring and an pain.  

Like N4CW notes, what automation of QTC's in WF1B software seems to be
hidden or non-existent.  

A 2 for 1 penality for busted QTC's would quickly kill them off.
