NC Chapter members -- FYI I submitted requests for
awards on everyone's behalf. You don't need to send
anything to N4ZR.

Hi Guys -- Results of the first award (for region with
the highest
percentage of participation) are on the PVRC reflector,
and will shortly be
on the web site. I was delayed because we first had to
take care of a lot
of inconsistencies in the membership database, before
we could calculate
any of the regional plaque awards. We also had one or
two glitches in the
SS results tabulations, which I just got fixed
yesterday.

Individual recognition certificates will now follow as
soon as I can get
the certificate stock and figure out which awards go to
which calls.

If you haven't submitted a claim for one of the
operating time awards, Top
First-time Entrant or Top Comeback awards, either
directly to me or through
your regional chairman, please do so unless you're SURE
I already know you
qualify.

By the way, the first-time entrant means first-time
entrant period, not
first-time while a member of PVRC. I think I may have
misled some folks
about that earlier, but this is intended to be a really
good opportunity
for one of our new contester members to take home some
hardware, not for an
established contester moving into the club area.
