Jim, glad to hear you guys made it thru ok and you got power back so
quickly.  We fared ok as far as damage is concerned. Even the dipoles stayed
up.

We're still out of power as I type at 4PM Sunday afternoon.  We lost power
as you did Weds night around midnight and the phone service died by Thursday
morning.  Phone came back yesterday.  No sign of anyone interested in
working on the downed line across an open field about 8 poles from me.  This
is definitely getting old.  I have yet to see a CP&L truck.  I'd settle for
a CP&L guy on a bicycle at this point.  Our generator has paid for itself in
full this time around.

I'm definitely tired of always sucking hind teat when it comes to power
restoration around here.  For sure my electric rates are not less than
anyone else's.
