Ice report from K4MA:
Lost power about 1 AM on Wed night / Thurs morning.
On Thursday morning, no power, no phone, no cable (with generator
running TV), and no water (community well). All wire antennas down.
Small pine tree (about 30 feet high and probably 8 inches in diameter)
had snapped off about 10 feet up, and the top part fell across one of the
guy wire sets.
It appears to have fell on the top guy wire turnbuckle. The turnbuckle is
pretty bent up, but
everything is still standing.
First phone came back late Thursday morning, then cable came back
Thursday afternoon. Water came back on Thursday evening.
Power finally came back about 3 PM Friday afternoon.
Could have been worse.
73, Jim K4MA
