I live in dot-bomb Seattle, WA.  Some folks used to live
high and may be living a little low right now.  In this particular
case, guy came off the street to place of business and asked
for some help picking up bus tix.  Sold me laptop as well
as Visor PDA.  I had local LEO run the serial # off both 
as well as asked for ID before I made the transaction.  I
really didn't need/want this low muscle laptop at first but
I felt bad and wanted to help him.  As it worked out, I
also use the laptop to guide a telescope on the side....
when I'm not being fascinated by the OS456, that is.
That (!) is one amazing piece of work.

we also have students who may no longer need the laptop,
preferring cash.  we have shops which recycle laptops. for
every high end laptop being released and marketed, there
are folks wishing to upgrade....as well as cast off their not-
the-fastest.
