[Pro2006] A couple of questions

I don't know if the 2005 has the 10 dB attenuator switch on the back
like the 2006. My switch has been activated for reasons quickly
forgotten only to be remembered after days of wondering why the scanner
is so quiet...

Toms' comments about the antenna connector are on the mark also.

I had one failure (not the 2006) of a scanner where the connection
cracked on the inside of the antenna connector. That unit was very deaf
until I figured it out.
